Rod Travers
Executive Vice President
Rod serves two primary roles in the Nolan Company. He is responsible for managing Nolan’s operations, administration, technology, and marketing functions. Rod also works with Nolan clients and consultants to define strategies and identify technology solutions that will achieve operational improvements. Rod has earned a reputation for demystifying technology and bringing practical, real-world ideas to the table. His emphasis is in bridging the gap between business and IT. In addition to his work with Nolan clients, Rod is also the Nolan Company’s liaison to industry technology vendors.

Rod currently serves on the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) Executive Education Committee, and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and webinars. Rod is Program Chair for IASA’s Executive Roundtable and Executive EDGE programs.
Rod has been published in CIO Magazine, IASA Interpreter, and
Computerworld Executive Suite, and TechDecisions among others, and has provided expert opinion for articles in
TechDecisions Magazine, Insurance & Technology Magazine,
Insurance Networking News, and Intelligent Enterprise. Rod co-authors Nolan’s insurance industry technology studies which are published periodically.
