February 2003: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's 2003 Gala
Nolan joined CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Wachovia Bank as a sponsor of this year's "Solving the Puzzle" gala. The gala raised more than $250,000 for juvenile Diabetes.
February 24-25, 2003: IIR Managed Care Claims Conference
Mary Jane Konstantin, Nolan senior consultant, addressed the audience on the topic of Managing Data Quality in Claims.
The conference was held in Orlando, FL.
March 2-5, 2003: LOMA Systems Forum
Nolan was proud to be a bronze-level sponsor at this year's forum held in
San Antonio, TX. Our client, Nationwide Insurance, was selected to present
a project they conducted with Nolan.
March 13-15, 2003: PIAA COO WorkshopNolan Chairman Ben DiSylvester spoke at this workshop in Scottsdale, AZ.
He discussed results from our recent survey of all PIAA member company chief
executives that reveals their views about future trends and expectations
within the medical malpractice insurance line.
March 24-26, 2003: LOMA Customer Service ConferenceNolan client, CareFirst BC/BS addressed the audience on how to get "Back to Basics" and improve service performance by
reviewing and re-emphasizing call center fundamentals. Nolan CEO Dennis
Sullivan, presented an insurance-industry outlook while serving on a CEO panel
at this event.

discussed how Eastern Bank's Retail Division improved
their profitability and performance while maintaining the
high-touch advantage that has made them an industry leader
in customer satisfaction. This year's event was held in
Las Vegas, NV.
April 1, 2003: BAI and AMIfs Profitability and Performance Measurement ForumNolan President Robert Grasing addressed the forum on
the topic of "Performance Factors by Line of Business."
Mr. Grasing talked about results from the 2002 Efficiency
Ratio Benchmarking Study, as well as case studies of
successful top-tier banks.

Nolan was an event sponsor and hosted a continental breakfast on Friday morning for all seminar attendees.
